Activity History consists mainly of system usage of the application. In other words, the database is being read for information (or information is being entered for the first time), but in most cases, the current information is not being modified.
In order to track activities, an option must be set in the Tools/ System Options/ History tracking (in order to enable this feature)
These activities include:
Activity history records deleted
Data change history records deleted
Export Summarized Learning Records
Forgotten password message requested
Import Employees
Import Learning Records
Invalid Login
Open Resource
Qualification history records deleted
Resume Final Assessment
Save Final Assessment
SCORM Resource Launched
Session Logout
Session Timeout
Start Final Assessment
Start Practice Assessment
Successful Login
To obtain Activity History, you would create an Activity Report - selecting only the Activities you wish to see, and the time frame for which you wish to report on.
Possible Reasons to Use the Activity Report:
Someone has locked themselves out of a Knowledge Assessment. You may wish to see how often they have logged in, if they have viewed the resources attached to this Task, or if they have attempted practice assessments before attempting the final assessment.
Management is wondering whether or not people are actually accessing the system. In this case, you could only report on successful logins to see the different people accessing the system.
