Interpret Task Resources

A resource is an information source used by the learner to assist in completing a Task.  The number of resources that can be linked to a particular task is unlimited.

• A Resource can be in the form of:

•  a Course - can be set as providing the Knowledge or Capability component of the Task.  If this is the case, completion of the course will turn the relevant Task component black.

•  a URL

• a TRACCable Resource

• a SCORM module

Once a Resource is created in the system, it can be re-used by other Tasks.  Removing a Resource from a particular task does not remove it from the system.  To delete, archive, restore or purge Task Resources, select Tools from the main menu.

All resources can be sorted using Categories/ Sub Categories.

Within TRACCESS, task resources are used by different roles to achieve different purposes:

• Subject Matter Experts - create resources (completed outside of TRACCESS), add a resource to a Task

• Learners - view resources in My Job

• Supervisors - for courses resources only - use the Set Course Wizard to set completion dates of a particular course.
