TRACCESS Today - My Job Summary

The My Job Summary of TRACCESS Today displays two main sections:

• Critical Components - Onscreen, the critical components heading is displayed as "Critical Tasks".  This is because if a task that you are responsible for contains a component that is in any of the listed statuses, it is critical that you look at it.  The critical statuses that are listed are:

• Revised

• About to Elapse

• Attempted - this means "Failed".  If you take a the Final Assessment of the Knowledge, and fail it, the Task name will appear here.  The same applies to a Capability Assessment.  If a Supervisor completes the capability Assessment for a Learner, and does not grant a pass, the Task name will appear here.

• Elapsed

• High Priority

Please note that two statuses are not represented here:  Complete and Incomplete.  If no Tasks are listed in the Capability section of the My Job Summary, the Learner may wish to look at the Qualification Summary pie chart to ensure that they have no incomplete Tasks.

• Saved Assessments - if a Learner has saved a Final Assessment that they have started, the assessment can be accessed by clicking on a link that would appear here.  The following is a list of items that need to be taken into consideration when dealing with Saved Assessments:

• Only internal (TRACCESS) Knowledge Assessments can be saved.

• The System Owner can set a maximum number of saved assessments.  In other words, a Learner cannot start a Final Assessment, save it, then start another final assessment and save it.  The first must be completed before the second can be saved.  By default , this value is set to 1.

• The Subject Matter Expert determines whether or not a particular Knowledge Assessment can be saved.  This is done on a Task-by-Task basis.  For example, a Knowledge Assessment with 20 questions may be set to be allowed to be saved, but a Knowledge Assessment that contains a single question, would not.

• The Subject Matter Expert also decides the Saved Assessment Expiry time (which is measured in hours).  If the saved assessment expiry time lapses, the link will not automatically disappear.  However when the Learner accesses the link, they will receive an error message stating that the assessment has expired and will no longer be valid.  A value of 0 in the Saved Assessment Expiry Time property states that the saved assessment will not expire.

• If a Subject Matter Expert takes an Assessment offline for someone who has a saved assessment, the Learner will also receive a message stating that the assessment has been changed since it was last accessed, and that the link is no longer valid.
