Task Revision Notification Message

The dialog below appears when you set a revision date on the Knowledge or the Capability component of a task. It allows you to send an email message notifying all the affected employees of the task revision; however, it is not mandatory to send a message. The parts of this dialog are explained below.

A. Subject Field - This line is already filled out for you. It indicates the type of notification; however, you may edit this field.

B. Message Body - This section is already filled out for you. It indicates the name of the task and the component being revised; however you may edit this field and include additional information such as the name of the resource that contains the new information, the SME contact information (in case questions arise), what must be done to requalify on a task component (i.e. Take a test, contact someone, take a course, etc.).

C. Notification Checkbox - When you check the "Email me a list of the people notified" notification checkbox, you will be sent an email with a list of people who were intended to receive the notification. If any of the employees do not have an email specified in their account, you will receive another email listing those people.

D. Send notification now - When you click this button, the notification is sent.

E. Do not send notification now - When you click this button, the revision date is set, but the notification is not sent. If you want to send a notification at a future date, you will need to clear the revision date, and set it again to bring up this dialog.

Note: This message is sent only to the Learners who have previously completed the task and have a valid email address in the system.
