To Set the Knowledge Revised Date

Changes to a task or its corresponding resource can be of varying degrees of severity.  If the change is related to grammar, spelling, or clarification of content (without the actual change of the content), a revised date should not be set.  When the content changes to such a degree that this will affect operating procedures, the revision date should be set.  This decision is left up to the Subject Matter Expert.  If the Subject Matter Expert is entering the information on someone else's behalf, and a change is being set in the task or resource, the person providing the information should also indicate whether this change warrants the setting of a revision date, or not.

  1. Highlight the Task.
  2. Select the down arrow next to the Knowledge Revision Date field in the Properties Section.

A Calendar dialog appears.

  1. Navigate through the Calendar.
  2. Click on the desired date.

The selected date will appear in the Knowledge Revision Date field.

All learners who completed the Knowledge component of this Task prior to the Revision Date will now have a status change from black (complete) to red (revised). Those who had not previously completed the Knowledge component will not see a difference in their Task status (white will remain white).
