Qualification History consists of Employee Task changes. In other words, anything that happens to modify the status of an Employee's Task (which can mostly be summed up as "color changes").
In order to track previous qualification statuses, an option must be set in the Tools/ System Options/ History tracking (in order to enable this feature)
These qualification statuses include:

An Employee failing a Knowledge Assessment
Knowledge Assessment Date Cleared (Assessment)

To obtain Qualification History, you must access the Tasks for an Employee. This must be done on a Task by Task basis, and cannot be generated into a report.
Possible Reasons to View Qualification History:
Audit Purposes - an external body has requested to see that specific individuals were qualified on specific tasks over the last x number of years.
Accident/ Litigation Purposes - when investigating the causes of an accident, it may be required to know "who knew what, and when".
