If this is the first time that you complete this procedure, you may wish to contact PetroSkills support to ensure that everything is being completed correctly. This precaution is simply due to the fact that Merging Employees cannot be undone.
Select Tools/ Search from the main menu.
Locate the Employee that will be the Transient Object from the Organization Manager (the object that will be deleted).
In the Properties section, in the name field, add the words (to be deleted) next to the task name.
Select Tools/ Search from the main menu.
Locate the Employee that will be the Persistent Object from the Organization Manager (the object that will remain).
Confirm the name of this employee - and write it down.

Generate a Lifetime Completions by Person Report.
Export the results of this report for future comparison.
Select Tools/ Merge Employees from the main menu.
Enter part of the Employee name in the Search field, and hit <Enter>.
Select the Employee that contains the words (to be deleted) as the transient object.
Enter part of the Employee name in the Search field, and hit <Enter>.
Select the Employee that will be the persistent object.
Click OK.
Compare the results of the first report, with the results of the second.
