TRACCESS uses your Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP) mail server to send messages/ feedback. A common corporate email program that uses SMTP is Microsoft Outlook. Messages/ feedback are differentiated in the following manner:
Messages are reserved for System Owners/ Operational Administrators/ Supervisors to provide general communication with the members of their groups. The Send Message option is available from any node within the Organization Manager.
Feedback is a way of exchanging specific information between Learners and Management. Feedback can come in the following forms:
Task in My Job - if there is an issue regarding a task (i.e., problem with task itself or attached resources), the Learner can send feedback to their Supervisor/ Administrator. The Supervisor can then forward this feedback to the Task Owner for review.
Task in My Job - Request a Capability Assessment - the Learner can send feedback to their Supervisor. From here, the Supervisor is required to coordinate the completion of this request.
Knowledge Assessment Question in My Job - if there is an issue regarding an assessment question, the Learner can send feedback directly to the Task Owner.
In order to send/ receive messages/ feedback, employees must be given a valid email address within their profile. Messages/ feedback generated within TRACCESS will be sent to this address.
