Notable differences

  1. Complete - about to elapse

With "White" representing "Incomplete" and "Black" representing "Complete", the icon for previous versions seemed to be a contradiction in terms.  If "Red" represents "Requires Attention" (rather than simply Revised), then a Task that is about to elapse is still complete, but "Requires Attention".

  1. Revised

Using the same logic as the previous point, a "White" clock should only appear on a "White" task.  The "Black" clock on a "Red" task indicates that the task was completed, and subsequently revised - but has not yet reached the "About to Elapse" time period.

  1. Revised - about to elapse

This is a new icon that did not exist in previous versions.  This icon allows for the distinction between a task that was completed and revised (), and a task that was completed, revised, and whose duration is about to elapse ().

  1. Durations OR OR OR OR

In previous versions, a folder could only contain one duration.  Now, each component of the task (Knowledge and Capability) can have a duration.

Also, could represent a folder with a Knowledge component only, a Practical component only, or both components.  Now there is a definite distinction between icons:

TIP

The Task Status History dialog tracks "color changes" - "white" to "black" (incomplete to complete), "black" to "red" (complete to revised), "red" to "black" (revised to complete), etc.  The only color change that cannot occur, and therefore will not been seen in the Task Status History dialog, is "white" to "red" (incomplete to revised).  A task must first be completed (black) before it can be revised (red).

Keep in mind, colors (statuses) apply to an employee's task - not to the task in general.  A red or black Task will never be seen in the Process Manager.
