File Menu

For most roles, the employee will see the first File menu.  However, for a System Owner and an Operational Administrator, they will see the second File menu - due to their added ability to create Custom Reports.

New Message - calls up the New Message dialog and allows you to send a message to the currently selected person.  If there is no person selected, you can also select the recipient from a To list.

New Custom Report Type - calls up the New Custom Report Type wizard.  This allows the System Owner (and possibly Operational Administrator) to enter report parameters, to enable employees to generate custom reports.

Logout - this option closes your current learning session, without closing the application.  

If you are using NT Authentication, this is the only way that an employee who is also the system owner can access the login screen.  If you happen to be a Learner using NT Authentication, you may not know your Employee ID and Password.  If you have closed your learning session in this way, and wish to reenter, click the X in the top right corner of the dialog, and restart a new session by clicking on your TRACCESS shortcut.
