Create a Qualification Summary Report

To create a Qualification Summary Template:

  1. Open the Reports Manager.
  2. Right-click on Qualification Summary and click New. The Qualification Summary Report Template wizard appears, displaying the Org Units page.


  3. Expand the Organization Units heading, and choose the Org Units to include in your report.
  4. Click Next >. The Learning page appears.

  5. Expand the Required Learning (and/or Optional Learning) heading and choose the objects to include in your report.
  6. Click Next >. The Filters page appears.

  7. Click Add to create a filter. To learn more about filters, visit Report Filters.
  8. Click Next >. The Options page appears.

  9. Choose one of the Summaries options.
  10. Click Next >.The Format page appears.

  11. Select a View format from the dropdown menu:
    TRACCESS Report, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Excel Data Only, Adobe Acrobat PDF, or Microsoft Word Document (This is the format the report will be displayed within your competency intelligence system.)
  12. Choose a Mail attachment format from the dropdown menu:
    None, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Excel Data Only, Adobe Acrobat PDF, or Microsoft Word Document. (This is the format the report will be generated in to be sent to your email.)
  13. (Optional) If you chose a mail attachment format, check off the Create ZIP file for attachment checkbox, if desired.

Note: This will decrease the file size allowing you to generate and receive larger reports; however, you may wish to check whether or not attachments with a *.zip extension are currently being blocked by your email system before checking this option.

Also Note: A maximum file size limit is shown in this dialog. If the generated report is larger than the value shown, you will receive a message indicating the completion status of the report, and that it was unable to include the attachment due to its size. In this case, you can still view and export the report within your competency intelligence system.

  1. Click OK. Your template will appear in edit mode under Qualification Summary in your Report Manager. (Before clicking OK, you can also click the <Previous button to go back and make changes in the template wizard.)
